At NYCC last year I had to face off against a skiny white dude in glasses dressed as Poison in SFxTekken.

Getting Rick Rolled in elevator by an organized group on every floor with boom boxes.

"BUTTSCRATCHER!" yells down the hotel room halls at 3-4 am then followed by fire alarm speaker in room telling us to remain in our rooms and that the Dallas police are going down the halls.

A Furry wedding with a lot of Dollers in the wedding party.

Forced to attend a Innuyasha themed wedding because they took over the main con room.

Despite having a suitcase full of free booze, Joshzilla wanting to know where the nearest ABC store was.

After giving him vague directions towards a construction site, watching him run there only to get lost while the rest of us ate dinner

There was also the time when I was volunteering for the local con and they gave me a list containing every comic creators personal cell phone. I debated on selling Quesada's to some angry One More Day fan

The best experience I ever had was sitting at the bar in Baltimore in 2009 (or was is 2010?) with Jim Valentino, Walt Simonson, Mark McKenna, Ryan Bodenheim, Kris Simon, Mike Dolce and Officer Mike White (if you've been to a con you've probably met the guy) just bullshitting about convention stories just like the ones discussed here.
Is he the dude with the Green Lantern sketchbook? I heard a rumor that he had cut it up and was eBaying it.

    The most awkward?

A panel where a creator started off by announcing he was a Republican and liberals were pussies for not making racial jokes about Obama.

Said creator later challenged Nicholas Gurewitch to make a black joke about Keith Knight (who was sitting next to him) and told him to "use all the words."

I was mock-fighting with a friend who was dressed as Scarecrow at WW Chicago and knocked him through the giant archway that covers the door. He broke it.
