Comic shows are are such a crazy, eclectic and most times terrifying experience. Anyone got some stories they wanna share?

Stan Lee caught me jerking off!
Spoiler:
I saw a guy wearing a wonder woman outfit and carrying a real concealed weapon in his boot. I was fairly alarmed.
___________
Spoiler:
One time this guy proposed to his girlfriend with some weird time travel / Doctor Who video...
A comic creator desperately trying to buy pot from me.
I wasn't there in person but heard about from people who were, but 1st NYCC I went to in 2007, but at a Vertigo panel some guy started shouting at Brian K. Vaughan over his depiction of Asians in his comics before being escorted out by security and shouting "Asian Power!"
How did he depict Asians exactly that would cause such outrage?Originally Posted by Spidey616
I've only been to one con, so I don't have a ton of crazy stories, but my favorite thing that happened was at the Marvel TV panel from the last NYCC. They announced season 2 of the Avengers cartoon, and men in their 20s and 30s were jumping up and screaming in excitement over it. I can somewhat understand the excitement if they were announcing it as a new show, (although it'd still be odd considering their age), but freaking out over the news that the show is returning when there was no cancellation announcement? That strikes me as weird.
And I guess something happened to Thor at the end of season 1 because he wasn't in the premiere of season 2 (we were given an advanced screening), and this guy in his mid-20s next to me and my friend kept asking us in a panic "Where's Thor?!" as if Thor were his child and he just lost him at the mall.
Let the stories commence!
Should be fun to hear![]()
