The only thing that is relevant is what happened that night, and witnesses have already testified that there was a fight of some kind. Just as 9/11 calls confirm that Zimmerman was the one who pursued the confrontation. Anything further is just further dragging the victim's name through the mud for no reason. We know there was provocation on that night.
In Zimmerman's case it's a matter of painting him in a scary light and giving people an excuse to believe that he was a consistently violent man.
In Martin's case, it's an attempt to paint the victim as unworthy of sympathy while propagating tired stereotypes about black males as savages worthy of being treated as guilty of whatever horrible crime the beleaguered white populace decides to imagine.
Oh totally. I noted in the thread earlier that the pot thing is such a non issue. I have to believe the majority of teenagers try it. It's such a non issue, but even the possession is a crime that is clearly being brought up to tarnish the kids character. Which is insane, but is working. I see people on my Facebook talking about him like he was Pacino in Scarface, and shit like that. Which is nuts, cause at least half of them vilifying the boy are still smoking pot into their thirties...
Too sexy?
