The image is blocked, but if its the one that's going around, that's not really Treyvon Martin. His facebook page pictures really do reflect that he was just a fun, goofy kid.

Now, if you want to accuse bias on only using Zimmerman's mug shot, fine. But the dude did shoot and kill an innocent kid.

my curiousity is with the media coverage...and my reaction as well...are we swayed by the images? how would we have felt if the gangster twitter images of a "martin" and the image of zimmerman's non mug shot? I feel for the martin family for sure...no doubt. Had Zimmerman not continued to follow the kid none of this would of occured. If anything martin was probably standing his own ground and if he was on top of zimmerman he was probably trying to protect himself from a creepy stalker.None of us were there so we can't know what happened...not trying to take sides just curious on how we are made to feel by constant images and the following perceptions.

I only care about the facts if the case, not what they look like.

That is not actually a picture of Treyvon Martin. It is some other black kid. So yeah, I guess if they were showing pictures of someone that wasn't actually the victim, it might change some people's minds.

If all other facts were equal though, it shouldn't. A part of this issue (at this point no one really knows how big a part) is what these two people looked like. Specifically one was black and one was not.

Yes. Newt went after Obama on his comment. There have been several comments here about multiple Republican presidential candidates turning the issue political. I am curious if there is any reason to believe this is true or if it is just people shitting where they like to shit.

The pics that pop up on Fox News sites and conservative message boards would only be circulated by seriously damaged people even if they were true. Because what's the ultimate message? "See, YOU'D believe this kid is just another dumb thug, too!" or "Come on, he doesn't look like a real kid!"

All point to the same racist sickness that got Treyvon shot.
