Maybe Occupy Oakland level riots.

I wouldn't even expect that much to be honest. Occupy Oakland outbreaks have been relatively tame to be honest. There are bigger riots when sports teams win/lose championships.

I am curious about a few things though, with regards to the leaked medical records of Zimmerman.

1) Where are the photographs?
2) With two black eyes, why didn't he go to the hospital after being questioned by police? He seemed to walk pretty well shortly after the incident.
3) Is there a case of possible bias by the family doctor for writing a prognosis the day after the incident?

Pursue, yes. Confront has not been proven at this time. And while it is possible that he confronted Trayvon, simply being confronted does not justify violence. Someone saying shit to you that you don't like, or insults you is not a reason to attack someone. I still don't know who initiated the first physical interaction between the 2 of them. I don't know if I ever will for sure. But if Martin hit Zimmerman first, I can't really say Zimmerman is completely at fault.

Keeping it real can go real wrong sometimes.

I'm still operating under the belief that Trayvon tried to get away, only to have Zimmerman be the one to approach him. And again, the whole situation doesn't happen at all if Zimmerman has enough intelligence to know that a dispatcher saying that you don't need to do something might be an indication that it's probably a bad idea to continue with your actions.

Yes. They're not going all in like Casey Anthony's team was.

That has to be weighed against Martin telling the girl that he was being followed and his initial attempt to get away from Zimmerman who pursued him for some amount of time.

Exactly. Trayvon may well have an equal claim under SYG as Zimmerman did if he felt threatened by Zimmerman's pursuit.

I haven't heard anything that has made me soften the stance I've had on Zimmerman since day one. He needs to go away for manslaughter. The difference between now and then is that now I am resigned to the likelihood that he walks.

I was resigned to him walking when they overcharged.

Here's what new information we know today:

Florida teenager Trayvon Martin died from a single gunshot wound to the chest fired from “intermediate range,” according to an autopsy report reviewed Wednesday by NBC News.

The official report, prepared by the medical examiner in Volusia County, Fla., also found that the 17-year-old Martin had one other fresh injury – a small abrasion, no more than a quarter-inch in size – on his left ring finger below the knuckle.

Separately, a medical report on Martin’s alleged killer, 28-year-old George Zimmerman, prepared by his personal physician the day after Martin’s shooting in Sanford, Fla., on Feb. 26, found that the Neighborhood Watch volunteer suffered a likely broken nose, swelling, two black eyes and cuts to the scalp. That report, first reported Tuesday by ABC News, also was reviewed by NBC News.

Both documents are part of a mountain of evidence – up to 300 pages and 67 CDs of witness statements, surveillance videos and other material-- expected to be made public soon in connection with the second-degree murder case against Zimmerman.

Gunshot Range

In forensics there are four types of gunshot wound: Contact wound - The muzzle of the gun was applied to the skin at the time of shooting, Close Range - The muzzle of the gun was 6-8 inches away from the skin at shooting, Intermediate Range - The gun was 8 inches to 3.5 feet away, and Distant - The gun was over 3.4 feet away at the time of shooting.

Trayvon Martin family lawyer: Stop the leaks–release all the records in Zimmerman case

The attorney for Trayvon Martin's parents is calling for the release of all of the documents related to the death of their son, rather than continue what he says are strategic leaks of records intended to benefit the defense of George Zimmerman, who is charged with killing Martin.

Attorney Benjamin Crump said on Wednesday he wants "full transparency" in the case, after several news outlets--including ABC, NBC and CNN--were given access to a sealed medical examiner's report on Martin.

"It was leaked for a beneficial purpose, certainly to help George Zimmerman's claim of self-defense," Crump said. "This report needs to be vetted with a keen eye."

"You have to look at this in the full context," he continued. "George Zimmerman made the decision to get out of his car, profile Trayvon Martin, pursue Trayvon Martin and confront him."

According to NBC News, the multipage autopsy says that Martin was "killed by a penetrating gunshot wound to the chest," with the entrance wound "located on his left chest 17 inches below the head. The single bullet passed directly from the front to the back, through his lungs, creating perforations." The only injuries to Martin are from the gunshot and to one knuckle, "a quarter-inch to one-eighth inch abrasion on the fourth finger in the ring area."

The gunshot wound entrance was from a bullet fired from "intermediate range," or two to four inches, "a soot ring abrasion and a two-inch by two-inch area of stippling" on his body.

Earlier this week, medical records leaked to ABC News showed Zimmerman likely suffered a broken nose, black eyes and an abrasion on the back of head.

Zimmerman's lawyer, Mark O'Mara, said he may seek a dismissal of the second degree murder charges against his client under Florida's "stand your ground" law.

Traces of THC found in Martin's system:

But Martin's defenders have portrayed Zimmerman as the aggressor, accusing him of profiling the African-American teen. Plus, one expert notes the traces of the marijuana-related substance found in the teen's system -- as measured hours after his death -- don't necessarily speak to any level of intoxication, while another adds that marijuana use typically doesn't make people prone to aggression.

Martin's blood contained THC, which is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, according to an autopsy conducted February 27 -- the day after the teenager was shot dead.

Toxicology tests found elements of the drug in the teenager's chest blood -- 1.5 nanograms per milliliter of one type (THC), as well as 7.3 nanograms of another type (THC-COOH) -- according to the medical examiner's report. There also was a presumed positive test of cannabinoids in Martin's urine, according to the medical examiner's report. It was not immediately clear how significant these amounts were.

No precise levels on the urine were released.

Dr. Michael Policastro, a toxicologist, cautioned against reading too much into the blood THC levels, adding that one cannot make a direct correlation between those findings and a level of intoxication.

He also noted levels of THC, which can linger in a person's system for days, can spike after death in certain areas of the body because of redistribution.
