I know, K-DoGp7 ... it's kind of like looking for an ATM machine. But the abbreviation became a pseudo-word and people started to apply rules to it incorrectly.

BFF == Best Friends Forever, you don't pluralize it.

ATM == Automated Teller Machine, you don't have ATM machines unless robots build these things now.

Actually, not DC Comics. The name was formally changed from "Detective Comics" to just "DC" quite a while back, it's no longer an acronym or abbreviation, so technically it's not a tautology.

And is anybody else having flashbacks to Miller's Batgirl series? Stephanie fell in (platonic) love with Supergirl when Supergirl not only didn't say "BFFs," but also seemed surprised that anybody would, since it is already plural.
