I think (some) people will be surprised by the election results this year.

Making women and Latinos your enemy is a strategy, certainly. It isn't a good one. But it is a strategy.

Women make up 55% of the electorate. And adding to that -- which, mark my words -- this stuff will do, is idiotic on behalf of the Republican party. How many young women, between 18 and 25, will vote who never, ever, would have been voting in the first place, are going to vote?

Jesus, the Senate Republicans have been holding up the "Violence Against Women Act" which has been just click-approved for the past decade.

And Santorum's telling people in the PR that they need to speak English.

Yeah. This will go well.

As much as I hated Lee Atwater, he would never have let this happen.
