As a writer and comic reader, I have always enjoyed reading and learning about the process of creating comics. Over the years I have come across several paperbacks and hardcovers that have full scripts in the back. Being able to flip between the script and the final product is such a useful tool in learning how comics stories are laid out.
That being said, i was wondering what trades and hardcovers you know of that have full scripts in the back?
Do you guys find that reading comic scripts is useful? If so what kind of process do you go through when reviewing a script?
personally, I like to read the panel descriptions on the script without reading the dialogue and compare it to the actual layout on the page. This gives me a better understanding of how to write for the artist and how layouts are put together.
What is your process?
