My apologies Bert. You got me going down some old roads from my youth, and that was one of them.

    How's this instead?

Hope you guys liked the previous ones and that it paved the way for you to forgive me for this one. But come on. How many of us who were kids in the Seventies didn't sing this song over and over again?

    Well, if we must:

"Able to leap powerful bullets with a speeding bound!"

"Able to do powerful speed while on a single locomotive?"

I will not argue that. Their greatest hits album/tape/cd has always been a prominent part of all my music collections and played often. Thier vocals are stunning and their songs are great.

Tin Man, Sister Golden Hair, Daisy Jane, Woman Tonight..... all awesome songs. But, as has been said, Ventura Highway is THE song of theirs I love. It takes me back to a magical time in my childhood and makes me feel like the sun is shining on my skin, even in the darkest, coldest, gloomiest of days.

Hey, George martin thought enough of them to produce their music.
