If comics are a serious art form, which every comic book company seems to "state" it is, they have to understand how art works and that does not mean catering to zitfaces.

I'm inclined to agree. I'm picking up Before Watchmen, but I am very unsure still about how I feel about it. But putting the Watchmen characters in the mainstream DCU just feels... icky.

It would be like DC buying the rights to Little Orphan Annie and then having her be Lex Luthor's sadistic daughter without pupils.

Look, I don't like Before Watchmen but it's not going to do anything damming the original material. If they went to DC, it's V for Vacation.
