Except an ultrasound is a *medically unnecessary* procedure. There's no medical reason for it and it's not even necessary in most pregnancies, just needed in risky cases. It's nice to have but not needed in the least. You can look up the latest studies.

It's like saying "want to get a vasectomy? Okay, fine, let's do a rectal exam first."

It's the government mandating unnecessary and unneeded medical tests that cost several hundred dollars in order to impose a religious morality. And this has already happened.

So, no, I'm not comforted by the numbers or lack thereof of Rush's followers.

But this means that states like VA will be changing. The last poll, from a few days ago, showed Obama ahead of Romney by 17 pts. And Romney was his closest challenger.

This won't go into effect for a long time anyways, as I understand it. By the time it is ready to go into effect, the women (and the men who are equally offended by this) of VA will have spoken up, they will have said, "NO!" They will have said "We will not stand for this, we all have mothers, daughters, sisters, grand-daughters, and friends! If you believe for one second that we will let this stand, you have been incredibly misled!"

This is the sort of thing that needs to happen in order for people to turn around a vile, horrible system. And that's what I think is happening right now, across the country.

...and that was the moderate version of my views from what I've seen of him. He popped up on a TV show a while back which was shown in the UK and he appeared to be worse than anything we have on British TV or radio by at least 500% and we have some real buttholes on TV and Radio.

Apart from George Galloway of course, who was a former MP who was a personal friend of Saddam Hussein and appeared on Celebrity Big Brother purring like a cat in from of another celebrity housemate and behaving like an imbecile. He was supposed to be a serving MP at the time for some god forsaken, run down area of London and only got in as an MP there due to his pro-Islamic, anti-semetic, anti-government socialist views in a mainly Asian area which was extremely poor. He spent most of his time messing around on TV and Radio and practically none of it helping the area he was meant to represent.
