    Pitch a Heretical TV Revamp

    Here's mine:

    The Odd Couple, as a detective procedural with Felix and Oscar on the gritty streets of New York City. They have a young, sexy team of lab techs.

    And this is the theme song:

    Not so much a revamp as a ridiculous spinoff:

    Weebey and Chris from The Wire get transferred from a maximum security to a minimum security Club Fed where they start a basketball team with the other inmates that challenges the guards.

    And to make it even more heretical? One of the core cast members will be black this time!

    My revamp? Seinfeld as a gritty street-wise detective. He says "That's a shame" as his catchphrase whenever he kills a perp.

    Mulder and Scully are back, and gearing up to fight the 2012 alien invasion. And this time, they're ready, drawing upon a wealth of experience gained from dealings with the supernatural and monsters of the week and the actual Devil, who apparently exists, because you'd think that shit would effect things, right?

    I love that pitch. Sorry that was for TQJ's seinfeld Idea.

    petticoat junction starring the kardashians..oh wait, thats their story already

    let me try again

    eight is enough starring the octomom...damn, redundant

    beverly hillbillies--been done with the realhousewives : (

    macmillan and "wife" starring tom and katie as they solve crimes in hollywood

    or maybe katie holmes could star in the remake of "the prisoner"
    Cause in my empire, life is sweet,
    just ask any bum you meet.
    Life may be a one way street,
    but it don't worry me
