The "meta-schtick" never happened until you made a joke about hoping you could hear my updates on Terriers. I acknowledged at the time that my bloggy thoughts about TV choices might be boring. Someone else this morning mentioned Donal Logue, and I did a callback. It wasn't meant to be a fight. But apart from a couple obvious jokes, everything I've said about Terriers has been honest.
Yes, I said, "This is the first time when you've said anything about why you think Terriers is good. Thanks for finally offering something to the conversation." I don't know where you see that implying that I think you owe me a bullet-pointed essay on why I should like Terriers. I asked the thread about why I should like Terriers--no obligation for anyone to answer, it could have been buried in other posts and I would have never said anything--but that quote is a simple thank you for actually saying something about why I posted in the first place.
I have no idea what to make of your last paragraph. Maybe it's the fact that I'm not good with words these days. But it seems to have more to do with you than me.

Cool! You can love it, and it won't bother me! I complained about it two, maybe three times; once asking if it got better, once saying why I didn't like it, then once more saying why I might give it more of a try. Then you made your comment, to which I responded contritely for the boringness. There were some jokes after that, mixed in with my honest thoughts (I think the difference is apparent). I didn't mean to badger you into saying what you liked about it, but I appreciated when you did.

For what it's worth, I still plan to try a few more episodes of Terriers! And I'll let all of you know what I think!

Have any of you guys read The Sixth Gun from Oni? I saw some pretty positive reviews, so I ordered up the first collected volume to give it a shot. I'm trusting Amazon with this one!
Seems like it's in the Jonah Hex weird western vibe.
Also, Jim, how can you not like Scott Walker?
