    "She Has No Head"

Have you kids read this? I didn't see it posted here:

    Well worth reading.

Very good points. While there are one or two cases I disagree with (I'd say that Storm's preference for bathing suit costumes is as valid as Emma Frost's) but it's a very good and eye-opening article for the most part. The point about the really random and casual touches like the women having unzipped tops for no apparent reason is spot on.

Actually, the part of the essay that my mind's dwelling on is the notion that most female villains & monsters are hot, while males can either be hot or not. Right now only a handful of non-hot female villains come to mind: Granny Goodness, Mad Harriet, Bernadeth and Stompa -- all created by Jack Kirby -- and Suzie Su, who looks to be a recurring villain in Red Hood and the Outlaws. There've got to be more, but I'm drawing a blank for now.

I think Kelly hit the nail on the head again (no pun intended).

Life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs, but if you sit back and relax you get a heck of a ride.

Junior: proof that nudity in comics =/= fanservice.

I am printing this to read later at home.

Did anyone point out that when Rogue first appeared, not only was she older, but not pretty, and a very lithe body with not much in the way of breast size?

That all seemed to change the day she knocked on Prof X's door.
