I've been thinking about Sleepwalker. In a perfect world, it would be an ongoing by Warren Ellis and Kev Walker.

This storyline was always fun for me and I loved the fold out cover for the final part...

You could kind of tell Larsen was getting ready to leave Marvel and wanted to draw as many Marvel characters as he could before he left to get them out of his system.

Does your love apply for 90's comic movies?

That would be pretty boring, and to go around and try to make another creator look bad just because he had the audacity to have the character whose book he writes be temporarily defeated in another comic? I thought the Adamantium octopus arms catching the Hulk unawares and beating on him was a great element of the story, and really set the danger stakes high for Spider-man. Seems petty of David to use an issue of Hulk not to tell a story about the Hulk, but as the means to put down another story. I mean, the Hulk being defeated in a fight should not be something a grown man takes personally.
Also the fact Doc was still recovering from his injuries and he was back to his original non admantium arms didn't help put that scene in a postive light for me either. It just seemed so..vindictive and petty.

Which did entertain me but for other reasons.

Here's a link to a CBR article about the Hulk/Doc Ock fight....

    Lots of good pics.

In my previous post you can see the fold out cover. I loved fold out covers. Round Robin: The Sidekick's Revenge had one too that I liked...

Loved, loved, loved Round Robin - The Sidekick's Revenge. I have the single issues when I was a kid, pristine copies that I bought while in college, and I recently bought the paperback. If they reissued this as a Premiere Hardcover, I'd buy that as well!

yeah, the two arcs posted above are pure nostalgia and some of what hooked me into comics. I still have the RotSS trade, always wanted to find another of Sidekick's Revenge

Loved that storyline. Particularly since I had picked up the Moon Knight issues that lead up to it at random. Always struck me as cool that they continued from one book to another.

The Peter David run with the Pantheon is something I am always thinking about re-reading. Those were some great comics. The X-Factor cross over was awesome.
