I have a weird love for Deathmate Black. I enjoy alternate universe/post-apocalyptic stories, and even with not knowing the characters all that well, it was an interesting way to go. Kinda wish I'd read the rest.

Deathmate Black was one of the best early Wildstorm books there was. The size of the story and the amount of people working on it really gave the fledgling Wildstorm U a chance play with its status quo, along with the Valiant characters mixed in. Gen 13 never really got a chance to be the rebellious group of teens fighting a corporate machine in their own comics, they got to do so in this. Plus, Torok Dinosaur Hunter vs Ripclaw.
