I find it really hard to play as a renegade Shepard. I don't think I can do it.

Tell me about it. He/she starts out as a dick and can end like a cold-blooded killer. I really find it difficult to play as that in any game with moral choices.

I do like how they made paragon Shepard less of a pushover in ME2. Inciting a bystander into shooting a bartender is a paragon option. As is pistol whipping the guy in the Overlord dlc.

I think half of it is the fact that I actually like most characters in the game and kinda want to make everyone happy. Bioware games do that to me a lot of the time. I care too much to go the bad route.

As for Romances... well in the first game I always choose Liara. Ash is kind of a racist, and Kaidan is a poor man's Carth Onasi.

What I really REALLY hope for ME3 is the return of Legion. There was far too little playtime with him, even if you count in the DLC.
That's fine that there are consequences. Hopefully some of the Paragon choices from ME 2 will show some positive results as well.

As for Legion, yeah, I mean your so rushed if you want to save Kelly and the rest of your crew, that you never get a really get all that much of chance to bring him on your team, apart from his loyalty mission and possibly the end game.

I'm not a human/alien type, sadly to say. I'm a Miranda or Ashley fan (still gotta work on getting a no cheating play through on ME2 so I can keep my Ashley romance), but if I were to play as FemShep I'd definitely choose Garrus, he is such a badass. One thing that bugs me so far about ME3 is that they made Ashley more...
    ME3 look spoilers
Feminine for lack of a better word. Now she seems more like Miranda, and to be honest what I liked about Ashley was that she wasn't just bond sexy like Miranda. She was strong and less reliant on sexuality. Now she seems like yet another video game chick.
You schmuck! Liara is an Asari, you could have gone with her, stayed with her, and continued to have sex on a whole new level. But nooooooo! You had to go for the gals in super tight outfits and have your crude mundane icky exchange of bodily fluids. Fine then! Live with your crude stone age sex, see if I care!

I usually play Paragon to, but there is some renegade choices I just have to make, like shooting the fuel canister under the ranting Krogan villain.

That kind of surprised me when that happened. But I'm glad paragon Shep makes Badass an option. Speaking of DLC I need to check if I did Arrival, I want to be utterly prepared for ME3, I'm not sure how I'll get the stealth achievement though.

Yeah, I'm happy that Bioware doesn't make it hunky dory if you were good, and everything goes bad if you choose renegade. Logically some of the acts renegade Shepard makes are cruel, but have good consequences.

And shut it, tight outfits rock!

Fine! You want a tight sexy outfit? There!

Just ignore the fact that she is old enough to be your grandmother 5 times over and that she will never have sex with you, ever.

Also I'm all for less characters to recruit, but they need to have a recruitable Krogan, in other words, Grunt should be there, cause he really has no reason to leave.
