I think your admitted dislike is clouding your opinion. Regardless of your interest I don't see how an unbiased opinion would state that either team "Isn't even remotely interesting to watch". Both of them have participated in great games in the past, and the Giants have been in several this year alone. Their games against the Cowboys and Packers during the regular season were highlighted on the NFL Network and were great games period. Even if the second one ended on a sour note for me personally.

And I know people who are not even football fans who are interested in this match up. I also know of people who are fans of neither team who find the match up interesting. This match up could also make Eli's legacy and put an asterisk on Brady's. It could even cement Brady as one of the all time greats or it could see him pull a reverse Elway. There are a number of stories attached to this one where some years they have to manufacture them.

Sorry you don't have a horse in this race but it doesn't mean the race sucks because of it. Just means your investment isn't there. I think for fans of football in and of itself will find plenty to entertain them during this game. Much moreso than they did in the Giants/49ers game or would have from a 49ers/Ravens Super Bowl.

Just to clarify, I don't need a horse in the race to find the race interesting. I just don't find this race interesting. If other people do, fine, go for broke, but I'm genuinely LESS than interested in this game. At this point, I'm looking more forward to the Madonna half-time show than the game itself ... and I'm sorry, that just shouldn't happen.

Well I've been more outgoing now, than I have the last couple years. Also been hanging out with a nice girl for a good few months now. Very sweet person, but she's in something. And if all goes well on Monday I may just be getting a cup of coffee (yuck) with someone in my class.

And I remember Flutie being benched. Not a fan of it. A much better QB then he was allowed to be in the NFL.

Yep, Flutie got a raw deal. Spent his prime years in the CFL, where he destroyed CFL records and was called "The Wayne Gretzky of the CFL. His 6,619 yards passing in 1991 and his 48 touchdown passes in 1994 remain CFL records. I know, those are CFL records but the guy could have been an NFL starter somewhere during those years.

Am wondering if Tebow will end up in the CFL, actually, if the NFL ever gives up on him, too.
