I'm optimistic. It doesn't seem to be playing the concept for laughs, and Roberson is involved. His Cinderella minis have been excellent.

Yeah, the voice acting was probably second only to Resident Evil 1 for terrible. Good god RE1 was atrocious. I've never been able to play that game because of how bad the voice actors were

I haven't read the second mini yet, but I enjoyed the first. Christina really enjoyed both though. So hopefully it lives up to those.

I'm not convinced it wasn't secretly the power source for the evil forces of that game!

Oh god no! The intro movie was award winning compared to the first in game FMV in the mansions hallway.

Jack of Fables started out okay enough, but it went royally to shit just before the Great Fables Crossover.
