I thought he did just fine. I think most of the people who don't fall into two categories; 1. People who don't know the historical background in which people married young. He didn't really need to be any more than 22-23 for the film character to be accurate that way. 2. They can't separate him from Harry Potter. It's the same thing that plagued Ed O'Neill for years, despite being a gifted actor. They only saw him as Al Bundy. I've never had a problem with dropping the baggage of previous roles.

Neither have I. He's probably gonna have an easier time stepping into different shoes, than Samuel L. Jackson.

There might not be a better soundtrack for drawing on a Saturday afternoon than old Mancini records.

Wha huh?!? Sam Jackson is the definition of a character actor. He may have a similar style in many of his roles but he will never be typecast.

I love the guy, but he pretty much superimposes himself over every character he plays. I never said he was typecast.

He's basically a "memetic badass". His roles are fairly different, but I can't think of the last time he wasn't playing that "type" in a role.

Nothing wrong with that, really. It's a very entertaining "type" to watch.

Radcliffe seems determined to got the Dicaprio route and refuse to play to the type of his most famous role.

Good point. Although he still got to indulge it a bit towards the end.
