The funny thing is I've grown to not love the original movies as much as I used to (loathe them in some ways) but still love the games made for them on a purely mindless level.

This one I anticipate enjoying more than I expected to yet have no desire at all to play the game

Course it might just be that Arkham Asylum/ City have spoiled me for superhero games.

Honestly it's more that the CGI screams video game to me rather than a desire to play a new Spidey video game. That just bugs me.

I can see that. Bad CGI Lizard is bad. And the stuff on the skyscraper looked pretty fucking bad too. I guess the webswinging is just never going to look REAL. It's always going to have a CGI look to it, no matter how hard they try.

I can see that. Bad CGI Lizard is bad. And the stuff on the skyscraper looked pretty fucking bad too. I guess the webswinging is just never going to look REAL. It's always going to have a CGI look to it, no matter how hard they try.

Yeah, but going with the first person bit there makes it look worse - too video game inspired. I feel like it's such a rigid first person view that it cannot possibly being a human - superpowered or otherwise - swinging on the line. I think they should have done some motion capture on the way a body moves when you swing on a rope, or something to take the edge off the stagnant camera angle. lol. Like I said, it bugs me!
