I don't disagree with Sasha but I still say a reboot is coming
Marvel characters have core fundamentals already there. Emotional fundamentals that separate them from a good chunk of Dc characters that rely more on a sense of mythology more than anything else.

Bleh, bored and feeling sick suddenly.
Hey, Sasha, ever play Phantasy Star IV? I just started a replay because I needed something short to tide me over until ME3 comes out.
And that's why people like Dc more or that's why people like Marvel. Either way, nothing is stopping any of them from just going "fuck it" and telling an actual story. That's what matters most of all. Companies need to take note how Doctor Who works now. It went parallel with Marvel. Had 600 episode plus of mythology, but it still grabs new viewers. It still grabs people. Mostly because it just tells a story.
RPG on the Genesis. Hell, only RPG on the Genesis as far as I was ever concerned. Released in 95, but it was way more old school than other games in the genre on the SNES at the same time.
It was a sequel to all these other games I never bothered with, but basically this one was a post-apocalyptic scifi and sorcery setting, with a bunch of cool characters. You had your obligatory swordsman (who hunts monsters), his badass female mentorSpoilers:, a wizard... And an assortment of weird demi-humans and androids.
