Pretty sure Siege was smaller, though I have to double check. It's been a while since I checked through the tie-in's for that.

Yeah, looked that one up, and it averaged about 8-10 comics a month. I think that's still more than House of M, but less than Blackest Night or anything else.

However, I remember the last few months getting more crowded when they announced a bunch of one-shots to fill the gap due to the delays.

And is it going to lead right into another major crossover, or will all of the Phoenix story be taken care of within it? Seems like it'll lead into another.

I thought Ultron War was going to be a huge event, but it might just turn out to be a stand-alone mini or an Avengers arc to close out Bendis' run.

I think Infinite Crisis had that many issues JUST with the Preludes.

Infinite Crisis and Civil War were just batshit-fucking-insane with the tie-ins.

There was the 80 page giant, then 4 prelude mini series, which all had one-shot specials as well, and those were JUST preludes. There were more prelude issues than actual issues and tie-in issues.

Which I'm okay with because I enjoyed the Preludes about 50 times more than I did the event itself.

It's a 2012 title, though, and AvX is running until almost the end of the year. So I don't know where they would slot it in.

Unless it's the month after AvX ends, as sort of a "Speed event" the way DC used to do.
