I'm actually a little surprised by how much I'm enjoying Uncanny. Gillen is SO hit or miss for me. Either I really like his work, or I really, really don't, no middle ground.Originally Posted by Slewo.O
Personally I've really been enjoying his work on both JiM and here. It's just a nice mix of characters and situations he's been able to play up. He's also managed to make Namor even cooler than he already was.Originally Posted by John M. Coker (Johnny C.)
What I am even more mad at is HOW COME THEY AIN'T USING BABOO! I GAVE HIM TO GEOFF JOHNS WITH NO CONTRACT! None! They can cash that cow for all it's worth!

The only thing I haven't enjoyed about his Uncanny run so far was issue 4. HATED that issue. Haven't disliked an issue of X-Men that strongly since the 90s (or maybe Milligan's run). But Gillen's issues of the last volume, the first 3 of this one, and the last 2, have been great. So I can easily ignore one bad issue.Originally Posted by Slewo.O
