I'm really liking where the story is going so far. It's nice to see the pieces of DAS being used.

I'm actually a little surprised by how much I'm enjoying Uncanny. Gillen is SO hit or miss for me. Either I really like his work, or I really, really don't, no middle ground.

Personally I've really been enjoying his work on both JiM and here. It's just a nice mix of characters and situations he's been able to play up. He's also managed to make Namor even cooler than he already was.

What I am even more mad at is HOW COME THEY AIN'T USING BABOO! I GAVE HIM TO GEOFF JOHNS WITH NO CONTRACT! None! They can cash that cow for all it's worth!

The only thing I haven't enjoyed about his Uncanny run so far was issue 4. HATED that issue. Haven't disliked an issue of X-Men that strongly since the 90s (or maybe Milligan's run). But Gillen's issues of the last volume, the first 3 of this one, and the last 2, have been great. So I can easily ignore one bad issue.
