    First Superhero Comic?

I'm curious. What's the first superhero comic you ever read?

Mine: Wonder Woman Vol. 1 #272. I was about seven. Yes, I AM OLD. It was awesome, though. There was a back-up story with the Earth 2 Huntress fighting Solomon Grundy.

Uk transformers #21- I know, not technically superheroes but first US comic, before that it was all Wizzer & Chips and Buster (happy days). After that Secret Wars and it's all been down hill since then!

Marvel Tales #111, 1980. A reprint of Amazing Spider-Man. I was 8 at the time.

It was 33 years ago, so I honestly don't remember 100%. But I'm PRETTY sure that it was Captain America #218.

It was an early issue of transformers issue by marvel. I loved the transformers cartoon and toys. I remember picking them up at a local convenient store and from there I branched into all of marvels books and 28 years later and I'm still hooked. The one book I can always remember picking up for the first time was the xmen. It was xmen 222 fall of the mutants tie in. My first impression was who were these characters that act nothing like the rest of there marvel counterparts. Edgy and with an attitude these characters seemed to be on the fringe of the rest of the superhero world. Viewd more as outlaws than heroes. Very very cool!

Thumbs up Re: First Superhero Comic?

I'm not sure which was the very first but this was one of the memorable early ones.
