Indeed I think it was kinda hinting about the identity of Irene's 'client' which is doubly scandalous

Indubitably my dear Doctor. My thoughts exactly.

Now excuse me while I play some random airs on my violin.

From Geeksugar, someone finally asked Cumberbatch about looking like an otter:

Benedict Cumberbatch Calls Sherlock a Great Dane & More Revelations
On the Otter and Hedgehog Internet Memes

Benedict: Is John a hedgehog? I haven't seen the hedgehog. When did that happen? Is it due to Martin's hair? Because if it is, I'll be really happy about that.
    Martin Freeman is a Hedgehog

Otters Who Look Like Benedict Cumberbatch

People think I have got the power cause I've got the monkeys. Nope. I've got the power because I'll let the monkeys loose...

I've been thinking recently that Moffat would be a great choice to write a Marvel movie (if not comic) - like Whedon, he's extremely well-respected in the nerd community (and extremely good) and thought he's done some work in movies, he hasn't really broken out there yet, and is still known more for TV.

The Guardians of the Galaxy movie would be an obvious choice given Doctor Who (and given that that movie will require some serious skill to pull off - especially if it's as important to the over-arcing Thanos story as it seems it should be), but of course Moffat's got range to do other stuff.

A nice little Twitter exchange that occurred after "A Scandal in Belgravia" aired in the States:

    J. Michael Straczynski (@straczynski): After watching tonight's Sherlock episode the only thing keeping me from getting out of the writing business is knowing it would bring joy to too many people. Goddamn that may be some of the best television I've ever seen...I'm doomed.
    J. Michael Straczynski (@straczynski): @steven_moffat I bow to a superior mind. You do stunning work. If I quit the business for fear of inadequacy it's entirely your fault.
Steven Moffat (@steven_moffat): @straczynski Oh hello! How nice to meet you! Very kind - far TOO kind.
    J. Michael Straczynski (@straczynski): Not at all. Series 1 was amazing but tonight I paused it every half hour to digest just how stunningly great it was bravo.
Steven Moffat (@steven_moffat): No pressure for series 3 then! Cake walk! Hope you keep enjoying.
    J. Michael Straczynski (@straczynski): Honestly one of the best things I've seen on TV. I'm in awe. You should be most proud.
