How do we even know this is still Hope? The Phoenix force impersonated Jean Grey for years and her closest friends had no idea. This poor girl can be at the button of the Hudson under a couch like Jean was. Captain America just wants respected Mutant doctors like Hank McCoy to be able to properly analyze the girl. Instead of former terrorists, Mutant separatists and religious zealots.

CAPTAIN AMERICA WAS SHOT AND KILLED ON THE STEPS OF THE COURTHOUSE FOR HIS CRIMES AGAINST AMERICA. And now he comes back to life miraculously, calls himself the top cop in the country, waves the flag of freedom so righteously, and stages an attack on the peaceful island nation of Utopia?

Commander Rogers's identity was scanned and confirmed by both Reed Richards and Tony Stark. All they want to do is the same for Hope.

I'd rather have two scientists like Reed Richards and Tony Stark with the Phoenix Force instead of a bunch a religious wackos holed up in their compound.
