You gotta wonder if creators are sitting back laughing their asses off at fans tearing each other apart over these series.. instead of the usual cliche stuff like death threats on Loeb (not to mention some pretty ugly stuff about his kid), etc.

Basically, redirecting fan hate away from creators and back on themselves..

The X-Men have significantly become more militant since Xavier's departure and Cyclops's embracing of the militant fringe. -Yes but when everyone else stands by and 18 Million Mutants are killed on Genosha then you're entire species is reduced to two percent then you will do whatever is necessary to protect the last two percent.

Cyclops has embraced former violent terrorists like Magneto, The White Queen Emma Frost, Namor- Who (aside from Magneto) has mostly proven themselves. Namor is Allies with Cap and often fights the good fight, Frost has proven herself loyal to the students and Cyke.

he's authorized and created clandestine hit squads that have targeted opposing religions, he's endangered children - against human extremists who killed an entire Alaskan town of thousands of humans just to kill one mutant child that was born (Hope). Thousands of humans now...their own kind, so why wouldn't Cyclops take a proactive approach? Why risk them taking out another entire town of humans just to kill mutants. (Of course he just made it easier for them by putting all the mutants in one place). We're talking about the same group who blew up a bus full of de-powered students right on the Mansion's doorstep. And endangering the children? By saying, "if you want to fight to protect your life then fight"? He has never forced the kids to fight.

Even former pacifistic Mutants like Colussus has become dangerous and unpredictable. All the X-Men knew the job was dangerous when they took it.

Let's put the Phoenix force back into the hands of Emma Frost and the Hellfire Club! Didn't she play a crucial role in the original transformation into the Dark Phoenix?
