What's funny is that I was just watching an NBA talk show with the guys from NBA TV/TNT (Barkley, Webber, Shaq, Kenny, Kerr, etc), and they were talking about how the young guys need to stop with that shit and treat each other like enemies like they did in their days. Except during All-Star games and the Olympics.

Also, the Thunder started Harden for the game. Didn't see enough of it when they got behind to see how much a factor that is, but Harden's key as a scorer for the second unit. I gotta think he'll be going back to that sixth-man role.

Wolves are possibly my favorite non-Mavs team to watch.

I gotta believe the Magic would want to hold out for Noah over Taj. I still think they would rather send him out West than to an Eastern rival, but the writing is on the wall. I highly doubt he's staying, so they got make a move to get the most possible.

I think it would have to be more. Probably a combination of Noah, Gibson, Korver/Watson/Brewer plus a Bulls #1 plus the Bobcats pick they own.

That is so bogus, especially from Barkley. If he was such a successful Alpha Male, where are HIS rings?

I lived through that stuff, and it was a time of disrespect and bad feelings. Not the kind of thing that we should teach kids.

I don't know where the connect between rings and alpha male thing comes from. There are plenty of great players without rings, and ones who are just as alpha male.

And the talk about all of it was for entertainment. They talked a lot about how things change when you end up on the same team, etc. I don't think you need to take it so seriously, man.

Also, just because I keep talking about dunks:

I had to throw my peeps a bone.

I don't see where you see me taking it seriously. Those dudes talk crap for ratings, like Jerry Springer. I never take anything they say seriously.

Just because I lived through the Jordan Era first hand and realize it was not as glorious as people think it was, doesn't mean I am not still smiling. Today's players are much better role models, and they embrace it. That's a good thing.
