I think Van Gundy wants out. I'm sure he's tired of the Dwight Howard Show overtaking everything to the detriment of all, so this was a good way to force the issue. I don't blame him at all, having to put up with that douche and knowing management bends over backwards to enable him.

Watching the half time report and David Stern pops up. My mom says "He looks like a sexual deviant. I don't trust a man with full lips." Um, okay.

Yeah but to talk so publicly about an internal thing? How does that not lose you your team?

If Howard's talking to management, he's also poisoning the team with the same thing. If that's the case, he's already lost the team.

Like during that interview. Putting his arm on him and calling Jameer to look.

I know he is an amazing talent, but at this point I wish ownership had said fuck it and traded him to a terrible team he didn't want to go to. Send him off to the Kings or Raptors for young talent. Make a statement.

But then I also think Magic fans should start booing Howard.

0 for 2 with 4 fouls. Is he throwing the game now too?

    Haha

And the commentator is retarded. "they aren't double teaming him". No shit! He hasn't scored a point in three quarters.

You do realize that Howard's leverage was that he could tell his new team if he was interested in an extension. Even the Kings wouldn't have been stupid enough to trade significant talent for less than a year of Dwight.

The statement that Orlando's management had made prior to today was the right one. "We are not trading Dwight Howard" is the correct answer unless the Heat offer you Lebron James (I don't think the Heat should make that offer, but it is pretty much the only one that the Magic should consider.)
