Well, a hero is here to Rize up like a Fenix! Got some stuff today:

A few new Avengers collections. New Kree-Skrull War OHC. Beautiful.

The newest Avengers Masterworks - what a great era. This one includes the Avengers-Defenders War, included in its entirety (as it also is in Defenders Masterworks vol. 2...).

And The Private War Of Doctor Doom. Perez awesomeness from my kidhood - the earliest Avengers I'd ever read. The changing of the lineup! Wonder Man returns from the dead! Zuvembies! And Doom. Fantastic, couldn't wait for this (even though I have the issues).

Some What If's! I decided the first 12 issues of this series were pretty fun, so I'm filling in the few I didn't have.

More What If (actually, this issue is smudged. I've already ordered a replacement), Madame Xanadu (another copy for the Bolland backup story which creeped me out as a kid), and the last couple Doom Patrols around the Flex Mentallo arc.
I wish I could afford to get into the MMW. They are way out of my price range.

cheapgraphicnovels.com is your friend. That said: I'm holding off an order till I see how some eBay action on some singles works out. The margin is thin, even with almost 50% off.

Jim, I have the Kree-Skrull War TPB with the "Three Cows Shot Me Down!" cover. Had Marvel gone with that, I would have upgraded. Plus, I have the singles.

I am always afraid to buy from some of these sites. I need to make a purchase from cheapgraphicnovels.com and check it out.

I also picked up the new Kree/Skrull War OHC, holy crap this book is beautiful.

I also have that trade and the singles! This is so nice, though. And it does have the Three Cows cover in the extras. They did a great job on this.

I felt that way for a loooong time too, but then I realized I get a lot out of these. You can usually find them for $35-$40. I just got one a month when I could, steady for a few years until now I have like three shelves of 'em!

Tip, I think if you Amazon'ed up an order of that Avengers: Private War Of Doctor Doom (Wonder Man! Zuvembies!) and threw in American Barbarian, that might be the funnest order you receive in a good long time. I think you'd REALLY have fun with both of those.
