    Good stuff, Jim!

That Scioli Cap issue almost passed me by. Get it together, Marvel.

I went to the quarter bin of my LCS today. This is what I got:

    1) Omega the Unknown (1976) #5, Legion of Superheroes from the early 1980's, #270 and 302:

    2) Some Cable stuff: 60-62 (Casey/Ladronn), and then 101/103, and Soldier X 7/9:

    3) Some DC Goodness: Checkmate 1, 5-7, 9-11, 25, 27, 28 / Doom Patrol (2004 / John Byrne) 1-3, 10, and Doom Patrol (2002 / John Arcudi) 5-12, Secret Sox 4,5:

    4) Some Random Stuff: Doctor Spectrum 3-5, Earth's Mightiest Heroes (2007) 1-3, Majestic (2005) 2-4, The Intimates 3, Warriors of Plasm 1, JSA All Stars 3, Grifter/Shi 2, Gen 13 (2007) 3, Generation X / Gen 13, Gen 13 Bootleg 6, Greyshirt Indigo Sunset 2-3

Every single one of these costs me $.25 each.

And I have to wonder why Marvel has not reprinted this in a premiere hardcover? Not enough demand? Royalties? Why, Marvel? Fucking Myles?

I don't know, but I wish they would. I can't find my copy at the moment, and I want to read it again. Badly.

    Great hauls, guys.

I've been swamped with work and some other stuff this week, so I haven't had the time to come here and comment individually.

Doesn't look like I'll have any more back issues to share with you all this month, but on the plus side, my long-awaited MMW DD 4 was waiting for me when I got home yesterday, so I should have 15-20 new collected editions to share at the end of the month.

Still waiting to hear about MMW UXM 6, but I very much doubt that it's ever gonna appear. I'm going to end up paying nearly double cover price for that one.

Anyone have any recommendations for hunting down sets of comics?

I was digging through old longboxes this weekend and discovered that I have Children's Crusade 1 & 2, but I never got the annuals in between.

Convention season is coming up & I'm sure I'll find it somewhere at SDCC, but I was hoping to read it sooner.

I've got the individual issues bookmarked on eBay, but I'm looking at $12 buying it piecemeal.

On a different note -- I just paid $15 for a 1 month old comic -- I missed Thief of Thieves #2 and figured I might as well grab it before it climbs higher. Most listings for it are getting over $20 already.

Working on my pre-DC appearances of THE QUESTION (debuted as a back-up feature in Blue Beetle in '67).

Haven't paid more than $10 for any yet.

Oh, wow. Dude those look great! Second from the right is a key book, no? Classic cover, certainly!

I have a couple of those I'd like to get, like the Jim Aparo Nightshade backups. Can never find 'em in good shape or affordable. Nice work, man!
