    The official Skyrim thread

Since Lester specifically said his thread was not the official Gail Board Skyrim thread, here is the official one.

    So..Skyrim.

Discuss, keep the spoilers to a minimum though, some of us haven't had the chance to play yet, like me.

I love this game. My only complaint is that you have to progress the main quest before you fight dragons, as I always put the main quest off for last in Oblivion and Morrowind. Alas I'm not one of the cool kids who have played all the Elderscroll games.

Well you only need to kill that one dragon.

I really enjoy Skyrim. With all the options available to how to play this game I'm already considering what I'll do when I play this game through for a second time and I doubt I'm halfway through it yet.

I will admit to being heart broken about the
    Spoilers:
    lack of an arena
or the fact that faction storylines are
    Spoilers:
limited to half a dozen quests
. Very minor gribes, no game is perfect and Skyrim is worth every penny and lived up to almost all of my expectations.

Les, that was never really a big draw for me - your first spoiler there - because it felt just like a mini-game to be honest.

As to the other point, well Morrowind's side mission felt epic to me. I actually preferred them in many instances to the main questline, save for anything involving the Dwemer. I found that interesting.

Before Fallout 3 came out many people were bitching that it was going to be Oblivion with guns. I find it hysterical that in many ways Skyrim is Fallout 3 with swords and sorcery.
