Mr. Fraction, sir, that was some good reading. Take pride.
Well that was rad. It strikes me that these guys are *actually* the most Marvel of super-teams. Marvel is the universe where the most popular character (Spider-Man) is regularly shat upon and hated by his home town. The universe where being a mutant means you get no credit for the number of times you save it all, even though externally, you're no different to any other super hero.
The most Marvel team isn't the Avengers (the Harlem Globetrotters, Yankees, All-Stars [US Olympic basketball team is my reference here]), it's the guys who are barely taken seriously, even when they're in the Avengers (Washington Generals, Oakland A's [forgive me, just watched Moneyball - Cubs would work here too, yeah?], Boomers [Australian Olympic basketball team - we make fourth place a lot, IIRC]).
Can't wait for the second issue.

Read last night and enjoyed it much. My uninformed assessment of Doc Strange was way off. Not a dandy at all, but takes his stuff very seriously and probably doesn't understand why the rest of us just doesn't understand this sorcery stuff. He takes his magick almost for granted as if it were as common as walking.
well done, lad.
