After going to SDCC for 8 straight years, I am ready for them to move to Vegas. I hope Wonder-Con is enough to tide me over this year.

San Diego is an amazing town and I love SDCC. I just wish the registration process was better.

PM me if your interested. BTW I'm just looking for my costs and not trying to scalp the tickets
Those looking for tickets to SDCC, heads up!

It was seriously undervalued at $50. I think $175 is a little high, but not much considering just how much goes on at SDCC.
At $50, I think NYCC is undervalued as well. We usually pick up the VIP tickets which go for $350, but the early access, VIP lounge with drinks, snacks and free coat/stuff check and the guaranteed seating are well worth it to us.
Yeah, I think the first time I went a full 4day + preview night pass was in the $60-75 range...not all that many years ago. At the time, I remember telling my wife that there was really nothing else I could do for 4 1/2 days for that price. Of course, I also just went online near when the tickets went on sale (maybe a few days after) and snagged a pass. No tens of thousands in the online queue ahead of me. It's kind of insane how much SDCC has exploded in just a few years. I'm hoping to land a pass and find a way to get there inexpensively again this year, but I'm sure there will come a day in the very near future when I'm just no longer able to make it work. That will be a sad day. But I definitely want it to stay in SD...such a beautiful place and wonderful location for the convention.
