I hope the industry takes note.
We want superhero comics drawn by cartoonists again, not lightboxes. We want writers who know when to shut up. We want superheroes to be able to win without their girlfriends getting disemboweled. We want single issues to have some content.
The enemy of fun in comics isn't "boring, pretentious" indies; it's boring, unpleasant superhero books.
