With the comics for Eric it's been finding good 'jumping on' points, and the new DC stuff really helped. He's enjoyed many of my favorite trades, so I'm thrilled that we can talk new comics now.

That's what was causing me problems finding stuff for Christina. Because no matter how many good "jumping on points" there are, there are so many references that would lead back to something else. I find Avengers Disassembled (and the subsequent relaunches) very good for a new reader. So that worked out well.

So not only is Christina reading the new 52 and going to comic conventions, she's now trying to catch up on all the Avengers books since Avengers Disassembled (including the Captain America, Iron Man and various other titles) and is now playing through Arkham Asylum too.
