When I first read Bru's Cap there was a few things I needed clarification on

I didn't mind going digging, I think in this day and age when information is so easily available you can get away with it

But I do see your point as I've read comic run by specific creators where everything is very well summed up at the beginning of the run. After that though they are kind of written wanting people to back track.

I don't see that as a bad thing though personally. I do wish there was done and ones. Not all the time but I think the one off story needs to make a come back.

I'm personally a fan of each arc being self-inclusive, but not necessarily each issue. It's different when arcs are 12 issues long, but for the little 2 to 4 issue arcs I just prefer that approach. But then I'd like it to be obvious to new readers, too: Green Lantern, Issue 1 bazillion, This is a Story Arc Title, Issue 1 of 3
