Which TV personalities do the Gail Board peeps find the most annoying?
I'm taking a trip into the past and nominating the late Rod Hull and Emu, who were huge TV stars in the UK in the 70s and 80s.

I don't want to sound overly cruel but when I heard that man fell off his roof and crashed through a conservatory to his death when adjusting his TV aerial to watch a Manchester United game, I felt it was a bit of a payback for him being a royal pain in the public's backside for many years and I was glad that bloody Emu died with him.

It's definitely Rosie O'Donnell. The only question is whether she was worse as "the Queen of Nice" (what with all the singing and thinking she was funny) or the raging shrew of her days on The View.

I was a bit OTT about Rod Hull, as apparently he was quite a nice guy without the Emu but went crazy with it to the extent he managed to piss off about 15m people every time he went on TV. He said late on in his career that the Emu actually overshadowed him to the extent that he couldn't get any work without it and he had become Rod Hull with Emu rather than Rod Hull. Saying that it was payback for a man to fall off a roof and smash through glass before dying was way OTT. Sorry if I offended anyone.
EDIT: Btw, the Emu didn't die with him as his son Toby, did a tour with it 4 years after Rod's death.
I used to watch the kids show Rod Hull and Emu did years ago and it was a lot easier to watch than the talk shows and whatever as Emu didn't tend to be nearly as violent on kids TV, only on chatshows and other non kids shows. Emu was never violent to kids either, only adults.

We are gonna have a huge divide here between the US, Brit and Oz contingents, because while our movies cross over, so much of our TV doesn't (and what does is more modern due to cable networks which cater specifically to UK TV in the US, US TV in the UK, UK TV in Oz, etc.)
Despite that Tonight show appearance for example, Hull barely made a peep in the US. Similarly, I'm sure I could pull out hundreds, heck maybe thousands of low level US celebs who are eponymous inside the US, but who likely wouldn't be known overseas at all, because they weren't on shows which got internationally syndicated. For example, I could talk about how constantly irritating Willard Scott was. But I doubt his schtick on the U.S. Today show weather segments has even been seen overseas--so he'd get a big "who"? I could drag out the mondo-annoying Billy Bush, and unless someone made his connection to George W. Bush (they're cousins), most people outside the US probably wouldn't have a clue who he is, because his US work is all on Radio and on EXTRA!, an entertainment news show I really doubt shows in other countries.
Here's a good experiment. Go online and seek episodes of celebrity reality shows from other countries. Celebrity Big Brother, Celebrity MasterChef, and Strictly Come Dancing for the UK, for example. Or Dancing With the Stars, Celebrity Apprentice, and Celebrity Rehab for the US. Or Celebrity MasterChef Australia or Dancing With the Stars Australia. And see how many of the people you, as a person from elsewhere, recognize. Even with the US shows being watched by international viewers, with the US having the biggest "cultural footprint" probably, its going to be mostly "who the #&*# is that".
