They think eight figures is ridiculous? HA! The Tea Party and their backers are horrified at the thought that someone could buy an adress that clearly identifies them and then mock them on there. They THRIVE on paranoia.
Seems a Canadian band I love could be on the verge of making millions. The Tea Party, a band that was hot in the 90s and early 2000s owns the rights to teaparty.com. They're not sure if they wanna seel it or not: http://ca.news.yahoo.com/canadian-ba...080022092.html
Also, I hear there's a new fad called teapotting....

I would not sell it if I were them. Not unless they're being given tens of millions.

Sell. Life's too short, financial security is too uncertain, and it's just a domain name.
Aye. And I mean, it's bascially win-win. Either they sell it to someone who dislikes the Tea Party and then does something to piss them off, or they sell it to someone who likes the Tea Party, and that means the money they get can't be used for stupid things anymore. Those opportunities are too rare in life to pass them up :3
I would be sorely tempted to sell to Tea Partiers and then donate the money to libraries and Planned Parenthood.
I sold my original Twitter account to a political organization! I'm afraid it was nothing so contentious, and the sum I was paid was only in the 3 digit range.
