Person of Interest, anyone watching this new show?

Agreed but I think they see that they were using her the wrong way in the beginning of the show. The episodes where she gets dragged into the larger story are a lot more interesting than the ones where she's just chasing a killer or trying to get Reese.

Yeah, they met in the episode where Finch had to pretend to be a captive during a bank heist by a gang John had infiltrated. The gang that was made up of vets. Carter interviewed Finch as a witness, but suspected Finch may have surreptitiously passed a message to John after she watched the surveillance video of the bank heist.

The last episode was pretty good and advanced the overall plot nicely. So is Carter part of the team now or still on the outside looking in? And surely the CIA isn't just going to give up and walk away. And exactly why do they want John dead so badly?

PoI winning the People’s Choice Award is pretty sweet. I don’t think I’ve ever watched that awards show but I’m happy with that win, at least.

And a fairly interesting blurb from Nina Tassler on the latest Carter developments. Looks like she’s taking the credit for that plot shift.

* Although “extremely pleased” with the ratings performance of Person of Interest, Tassler confirmed the network requested a significant creative change. “We felt that the Carter [Taraji P. Henson] character was somewhat marginalized. We felt that the Carrter character was too peripheral, [so] we asked [producers] if they were open to bringing [her] into the superhero cave. It was a plan that they had in place, but more for the end of the season. We asked them if they were open to moving that up. We felt it was a key ingredient to [help] the show grow and expand.”
