I enjoyed it myself...I will continue to watch it.
I am really digging this new show from Jonathan Nolan and J.J. Abrahms.
Emmerson and Caviezel work really well together.

I really like how it appears that they have chosen to give us so much information in the first episode. it is like the antI LOST.

I DVR'd it and am looking forward to checking it out when I get a chance.
it's on my DVR, look forward to watching it soon. looks very cool.
i have twitter now. follow for random musing on sports, movies and other stuff.
I've also begun a movie review blog. reviewing both new movies as well as older favorites.
The pilot is available on the CBS website. http://www.cbs.com/shows/fall_premie...ub/2140013058/
It's also re-airing on Saturday.
I watched it tonight.
Good premise.
A little over written. Do they have to spell out everything that we already see on screen?
Hopefully it gets better after the pilot.

"90% of what I write is sarcasm -- the other half is bullshit."
Person of Interest was wildly ok.
Pros:
Good concept
Possibility for larger stories to be told
Technically, artistically and aesthetically pleasing
Mysterious former CIA agent (Jesus)
Mysterious billionaire character (Ben)
Great pacing
Abrams
Nolan
Sharp dialogue
Cons:
CBS
CBS' tendency to stick with one-n-done episodes so that it's ok to miss one and old people can follow
The story's forced "twists"
The resolution to this week's "case" (hokey courtroom nonsense)
Too much shitty licensed music
Lack of strong female character (looks like the one chick will be recurring....I have a feeling she wasn't in the original pilot)
Used 9/11 as a plot point (UGH)
I give the pilot a B-, but there's definitely enough there to go back. Again, my biggest concern is that it's on CBS, so I'm holding my breath that they'll do longer stories, which could really be great. Check it out, though. It definitely takes the idea of "cinematic television" (for the major networks anyway, seeing as HBO's been there for over a decade) to the next level and is easily the best looking show on CBS.
I really wanted to dig it considering all the people involved but it felt like it hit the ground running so fast. Wasn't really into anything that was happening.
