New JUST SUPER by me and ZEES! Have you ever been to Bibbin's Bodega? Neighborhood super-genius Doctor Fusion owns it, so don't try and shoplift, dig?

I am working on my first comic book. It's an indie/superhero/team thing and I'm not getting my hopes up about it ever being anything but a self-pub that I'm doing to entertain my friends. I'm writing and doing all the art/layout/lettering/color/etc.
It's called "Tension" and I'll be launching a Kicksterter in January or February.
Of course, it would be cool if after 10 or 12 issues Image picked it up and put it out as is.
Also working on an adult (not porn) steampunk novel. That's kind of backburner right now because I'm really enjoying drawing again.

So I spent a long time reformatting this next comic for web viewing, and also, it's the first appearance of SH3, hence my quoting the previous quote. Let me know what you think, KellySuers!

I'm currently working on my webcomic, Eon Viant. I'm just a writer/visionary. I have three arcs planned, the first one is about finished, and I'm about to start production on the second.

Anyone have any success stories with Kickstarter?

Do you mean personal stories from people on this board? Not that I know of - but of course there are tons of other Kickstarter success stories to inspire us!

    Good luck,

    Kaz

Yes, exactly. Sorry I didn't specify. So no stories from people on the board? Maybe someday.

Just finished the rough draft of my novel this past Monday. Going to let it set for a couple of weeks before I jump back in.

Re: Writers & Artists: What are you working on?

I've got a couple comic scripts under my belt and one novel-length one, I just need to find an artist, y'know? Preferably one who can be paid in "hey, I bought this bottle of whiskey/pack of gatorades/whatever the kids are drinking these days" because paying bills makes it tough to pay artists...

I feel like this is rambly. I'm new to forums, as a whole.
If I live too long, I'm afraid I'll die.
