Is there a reason for the double and triple feature podcasts lately?

Just curious if there was any particular reason for the recent doubling and tripling up of recent shows other than expediency? It would be more audience friendly to release them as single show eps. all on the same day.

Not complaining, all the recent guests have been people I've wanted to listen to or the shows were front-loaded with the people I wanted to listen to, but I do like the option of being able to pick and choose according to my interest in the guest.

yes there is.

1st i've had the good fortune of many creators wanting to come on the show at the same time and many have had timely information that needs to get out now, or it will be a little stale.

2nd why not release them every 2-3 days as single episodes? Because downloaed habits reveal themselves, and most folk only check inn weekly. I don't want anyone to miss an ep

3rd The Pasko interview was great but massive and i think it was best to get out out asap before...

4th the avalanche of new projects that have and will be announced at san diego, baltimore and toronto's fan expo and creators will again like to build on the pub and get on my show asap.in addition there are people i'd like to get to when the chance comes up.

and 5th i think the big shows have been filled with top notch content, and i've got nothing but positive feedback and unique +download increases

As for having the option of picking and choosing, what would stop you from only listening to the specific parts of the show you want?

ever watch a late night show, and only watch it for one guest? it's like that.

All valid points, single guest shows are just my personal preference, and I guess I'm in the minority if your download numbers are up.

Like I said, I was just curious. The Marty Pasko show has been fantastic, one of my all-time favorites. I love the shows that focus on the history of the medium.
