    Maybe next year I can hit Chicago. Dragon*Con is my only flight trip this year. NYCC is driving distance.

    If you have to fly, make it C2E2 in late winter/early spring, not Chicago Comic-Con. This weekend's show is hardly worth a short drive in a car.

    Unless you're going to see Tom Stillwell. Then it's totally worth it.

    Seeing Tom IS a treat, but even more so is the pizza. Note Tom does not fly to visit Gail, he sends frozen deep dish pies. Even he knows....

    Actually this show has turned out to be a pretty good one. Less retailers, way bigger artist alley. Tons of cool creators.

    I had to bail at the last minute, but Wizard turning it into a non comics show has resulted in Artist's Alley being a pretty terrific place to be.

    Yes, artist alley is phenomenal this year. I was really pleased.

    Also... I'm in costume today. I think I look like a hooker. Again.
