    Talking Spidey & Me

    Hey!
It's BND launch day! Today's the day my 1st ever issue of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN comes out!!! Seriously, I've been waiting for this day since I was 8 years old!

Well, I thought this might be a neat time to look back at all the previous times I've crossed paths with everybody's favorite wall-crawler...

    So...

Why not take a quick swing with me down memory lane? C'mon, it'll be FUN!

    Red face The 90's!

    1991
    From NEW WARRIORS ANNUAL #1
This was in my very first super hero story for Marvel, the third story I'd ever sold-- and my first chance to stick Spidey in-- so, you bet I took it!

    1993
    REN & STIMPY #6
I can't believe they let me do this. A full issue of Powdered Toastman fightin' Spider-Man. What a hoot!

    From WHAT IF Vol.2 #52
Blink or you'll miss 'im! But he was in there, see?

    1995
    VENOM SUPERSIZE #1
My FIRST ever Spider-Man story! And it was drawn by Mark Bagley! Not a bad way to start, right?

    1996
    SPIDER-MAN MAGAZINE FOR KIDS/Fall '96
I had two Spidey stories in this issue. In the first, he fought a Mesmero-rized Captain America...

And the second story had Spidey up against the menacing multiple images of Mirage...
Good, corny, all-ages fun. Like the title of the book says, "Spider-Man" "For Kids".

    Up next...
A quick hop into this millennium, a second life at Marvel, and some more Spidery-fun...

Don't forget your short story in Marvel Tales #256 featuring Spidey in a flashback and What The?! #26

What's more amazing, I have practically have almost every comic that you mentioned Dan, and signed, but you already knew that

My comics ship every two weeks and sadly, I won't get it until next week... but by then I'll have 2 issues to love! Yay!

This is an interesting topic. It shows an evolution of all your career pretty much up until this point.

I would have loved to read Spider-Man for kids a few years ago. Anyway, it is really interesting to observe Dan's relationship with the character through the years.
