Scalped is my favorite book out right now, and I am going to miss it like hell, but I also don't want it going for anymore issues than it needs to.
I think around 60 issues is becoming the sweet spot for a lot of great Vertigo runs.

I'll definitely miss it, but I'm sure Aaron and Guera will give it a hell of an ending. I'm just glad they get to tell their whole story and end it by choice and not abrupt cancellation.

Aw man. I knew it had to end sometime but still, I'm gonna miss it. Great read, month after month.

It's a Vertigo standard. If you equate a Vertigo comic with a cable series (10 issues = a season) that's like 6 seasons of a TV drama. Any drama on the air for more than 6 years kind of becomes a joke.
Winter is Coming.
So I guess this means 2 more trades left.
I really didn't like it initially, but because of Cactusakic, he suggested I give it another look and it's become one of the ones I look forward to reading. Gripping series. I can't wait to see how this ends.
You could tell from the story that it was heading there. 60 issues is a good #.
Right on.

Sad to see it go, but I'm also glad that it's getting a proper ending.
Between DMZ and Scalped ending and Northlanders and House of Mystery canceled, I wonder what new series we'll get in the coming year.

I knew it was ending, but not this soon. 10 more issues to go is kind of a downer. Yet, I still have faith that Aaron and Guera have a helluva ending planned.
