It's funny how almost everyone immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was an attack by Islamic radicals the moment the story broke.

Even funnier that if this had been an Islamic exremist it would have been months of discussion of Muslims and radical Islam and terrorists but the moment it turns out to be a white Norwegian born rightwing Christian fundamentalist he's referred to as a lone wolf.

That's because the two are not comparable.

Violent, radical Christianity actually is on the fringe. Christian clerics who urge violence are rare and they are universally shunned by mainstream Christianity.

So they're identical then. Radical fringe Muslims make up less than 1% of followers of the religion and mainstream Islamic clerics have shunned and denounced the fringe and violent minority in the same manner. You're smarter than this Thud, no need to resort to silly right-wing talking points.

There is a difference between all and some but it's pointless to argue about it. If it helps you to view Muslims and Christians as being identical when it comes to violent extremism that's cool.
