However I squinted and pretended it was another detective duo set in Victorian times and quite enjoyed the first one.

This looks to be on a par with that so I should enjoy it.

Where is Rachel McAdams in that trailer? She's listed on IMDB, though who knows how accurate that is. Perhaps a jail scene since she was "arrested" at the end of the first film? I don't think a jail would hold her though. And for someone who was up close to Moriarty in the first film, I'd expect her to have a big part in this film. So why no trailer shot?
