    Only low is my exhaustion.
Nick, those photos are COOL. (Even cooler than bow ties.)

High: Emerald City Comicon was probably the most success I've had at a con in terms of selling product and doing sketches.

Low: Returning to the 9-5 grind after such a good weekend.

High: The first issue of Secret, by Jonathan Hickman, Ryan Bodenheim, and me on colors came out today! The first ongoing series I've ever been a part of.

Low: The Detroit Red Wings lost the first game of the playoffs, and my favorite player got injured - cut his wrist on a skate - OUCH

That's exciting about the book, congratulations! I'll have to add it to my pull, everyone in my shop last night was talking about it.

They'll bounce back in the second game, I think they outplayed Nashville in the 2nd and 3rd. Hopefully Helm can bounce back quick from the cut, I was so happy that he was back in time for the playoffs. It would be devastating to lose him again.

Yeah, I certainly hope so. The Wings do have quite the knack for managing to lose to teams they're consistently outplaying in the playoffs. But I have faith. And yeah, I really hope Helm can recover quick. On a team with that much talent he's managed to basically become my favorite player.

Low: Spent four days on biz travel, this time with some federal officials. Nice bunch, but incredibly time consuming and frankly unproductive. Very long days and early mornings. The shooting incident cropped up its ugly head again so had to deal with that as well.

High: Heading home. Started IRON WITCH by K. Mahoney. Started watching download of SHERLOCK. Hiking this weekend. I am loved. These things are all very high on my list.

Sorry it's been a tough few days, Terry. Very glad you're heading home to your loved ones!

Hope you have a groovy weekend.

    Re: High/Low

Past high/low but must report on it since the high remained. The high during ECCC was when Tallulah Louise took my hand as we walked. Every time I think about it, my heart does a wee flip. It may seem silly or maudlin, but it was a moment that sticks with you.
